HAP 660 - Health Policy Formation and Implementation

Applies selected methods for studying theory and practice of health policy formulation and converting a policy into administrative decisions and a plan of action. Emphasis on acquiring a basic working knowledge of health system and problem complexity and evaluation of policy impact using contemporary health policy examples and case studies. Indentifies the institutional determinants of health policy formation and implementation, including special interest and stakeholder groups and their interaction.
