CS 611 - Computational Methods for Genomics

Credits: 3 (NR)
This course covers fundamental principles and techniques for implementing computational algorithms to solve problems in biology arising from the need to process large volumes of genomic information. Topics include sequence analysis, alignments, sequence assembly, gene prediction, and protein structure prediction.

Prerequisite(s): CS 583; or permission of instructor.
