ECE 549 - Theory and Applications of Artificial Neural Networks

Credits: 3 (NR)
Emphasizes dynamical systems approach to neural networks. Covers simple tools for neural network analysis, Liapunov stability, gradient descent minimization techniques, simulated annealing, perceptron, learning in feedforward and recurrent networks, back propagation, Boltzmann machines, recurrent backpropagation, adaptive resonance theory, selforganizing feature maps, associative memory, neural networks for optimization, and implementation issues.

Prerequisite(s): ECE 320 or equivalent.
