ENGR 210 - Statics and Dynamics

Credits: 3 (NR)
Covers general principles and fundamental concepts, including units of measurement; force vectors and their use, including vector operations; equilibrium of a particle; resultants of a system of forces; equilibrium of a rigid body; dry friction; center of gravity and centroid; moments of inertia, including parallel axis theorem and radius of gyration; kinematics of a particle.

Prerequisite(s): Grade of C or better in PHYS 160 and MATH 114. Prerequisite enforced by registration system.
