HAP 752 - Advanced Health Information Systems

Credits: 3 (NR)
Provides in-depth analyses of the challenges of supporting clinical providers across all settings through information integration in electronic health records (EHR). Analyzes architectural trends, workflow redesign, and implementation strategies. Attention is given to life cycle management strategies for health information systems. Laboratory time provides learning experience in various allied situations.

Prerequisite(s): HAP 709, or permission by the instructor or Program Coordinator.
