ME 330 - Heat TransferCredits: 3 (NR)
Introduces basic principles of conduction, convection, and thermal radiation. Topics include rate laws and conservation of energy, analysis of steady and transient one-and two-dimensional conduction, fins and enhanced heat transfer, forced and natural convection in internal and external flows, heat exchangers, and thermal radiation. Considers thermal design of engineering processes and systems.
Prerequisite(s): ENGR 307. Prerequisite enforced by registration system.
