ME 430 - Mechanical Engineering Laboratory

Credits: 1 (NR)
Introduces experimental methods in mechanical engineering. Reviews principles of measurement, sources of experimental error, experimental uncertainty, measurement standards and accuracy. Utilizes instrumentation including detectors, transducers, and data acquisition systems. Experimental measurements of material, mechanical and thermal responses. Involves technical report writing.

Equivalent to ME 350 (2013-2014 Catalog).

Prerequisite(s): STAT 344. Prerequisite enforced by registration system.

Corequisite(s): ME 443.
