Visual Impairments Licensure, PK-12 Graduate Certificate

This 33-credit certificate is designed for students seeking Virginia initial teacher licensure in visual impairments (PK–12). Students must complete EDSE 501 either prior to admission to the certificate or can take it in their first semester. Students who have completed graduate or undergraduate coursework in a university program prior to admission to the certificate may request that courses in the certificate program be waived based on the content in prior coursework. Students waiving coursework must complete a minimum of 15 credits to be eligible for the certificate.

The graduate certificate in visual impairments licensure, PK-12 may be pursued on a part-time or full-time basis.
