• Jean-Ali

    Jean-Ali Tavassoli is stoch'ed about Operations Research. He got his undergraduate degrees in mathematics and economics from the University of Virginia and will graduate with a Master's Degree in Operations Research from George Mason University in December 2012. He currently enjoys working at the Naval Surface Warfare Center at Carderock as a Cost Analyst getting to apply his math background to real-world problems. He supports the Amphibs and Auxiliary Ships Program. In his free time he likes to read and improve his tennis game, optimistic that he will one day develop that elusive kick serve.

  • Brittany

    Brittany Basilone is a Washington & Jefferson College graduate with majors in Mathematics and Spanish and a minor in Education. She currently works as a cost analyst for the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division (NSWCCD) and supports the Amphibious and Auxiliary group of NAVSEA 05C. Her most recent projects include the Joint High Speed Vessel and the Coast Guard’s Fast Response Cutter. Brittany will be graduating from George Mason University in December 2012 with a master’s degree in Operations Research. In her spare time, Brittany loves reading and watching trashy reality television. She is addicted to coffee and french fries. She’s an all-around cool chick!

  • Rudy

    Rudy is a career civil servant working at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren, Virginia. He currently serves as the lead systems engineer and project manager for a biometrics program. With his wife of twenty-three years, he's helping raise four children ranging in age from five to twenty-one years old. He's currently taking graduate classes in systems engineering with plans to receive his MSSE from GMU in December of 2013. His motto in life is to do only those things that benefit God, family and country.

  • Paul

    Paul is a graduate of Virginia Tech. He previously worked as an IT Project Manager and is now an Operations Researcher working for the Department of Defense. He will graduate with a Master's Degree in Operations Research in December 2012. His spare time is spent learning new things.
