Brian Jones is getting his Masters in Systems Engineering with a
concentration in Systems Management. Brian completed his bachelors in
Systems Engineering at GMU in 2010 with a concentration in operations
research. His work experience has been centered around system design
and testing. He spent a year with BAE Systems working for the Marine
Corp Operational Test and Evaluation Activity (MCOTEA) at Quantico VA.
By applying systems engineering methodologies and principles, Brian
successfully led multiple systems through initial operating capability
(IOC) testing and completed a deployment to Afghanistan to help Marines
test newly fielded equipment and systems. He now works for Northrop
Grumman in Fairfax VA and oversees testing activities for multiple
projects. He has authored many technical papers detailing systems
engineering processes for government customers. After Brian completes
his Master's degree, he plans to start working towards getting his
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
