NCLC 249 - The Internet: Literacy, HTML Tools, and Virtual Community

Credits: 3-15
Introduction to cyberspace, the Internet, and web. Students learn basic HTLM to create individual and collaborative web pages. In addition to using e-mail, students explore use of listservs, online discussion forums, and virtual communities. Assignments include collaborative and individual web pages, analytical and creative papers, and online research.
