CONS 410 - Human Dimensions in Conservation

Credits: 3
Provides sociological and global perspectives on conservation issues including human wildlife interactions, environmental economics, public policy, environmental values and public opinion, ecological grief, community-based conflict resolution, and conservation ethics.

Satisfies General Education Requirement: Social and behavioral science

Prerequisites
60 credits and college level coursework in the biological or environmental sciences.

Notes
Must be taken concurrently with CONS 320, CONS 401, CONS 402, and CONS 490. Only offered through the Smithsonian-Mason Semester.
