Environmental Science Minor

A minor in environmental science aids the development of an increased awareness of the major environmental issues effecting the natural world and society. The minor is intended to compliment a major in natural science but could also be taken by non-science majors. This minor cannot be taken in conjunction with the BS in Earth Science concentration in environmental geoscience, the BS in Global and Environmental Change, the BS in Environmental Science or the BA in Environmental and Sustainability Studies.

At least 8 credits of courses taken for the minor must be exclusive to the minor and not count toward the student’s major.  For policies governing all minors, see the Academic Policies  section of this catalog.

This program of study is offered by the Department of Environmental Science and Policy in the College of Science .
