Analyzes current issues involving renewable and non-renewable earth resources with consideration of the economic, political, social and aesthetic significance of these resources and their utilization. Taught seminar style examining case-studies, with emphasis on discussion, reading, writing and student oral presentations.

Prerequisite(s): GEOL 101 and 102 and GEOL 302, 304 and 308 OR GEOL 305, 320 and 321 and completion of Mason Core requirements.
