Did you take classes at a college or university while still in high school?
As a dual enrollment applicant, you may be able to apply those credits to your Mason transcript once you are accepted.
Important Notes for Dual Enrollment Applicants
- Use the freshman admissions application to apply to Mason as a student with dual enrollment.
- Indicate your dual enrollment status on your application, and supply all requested proof of completed course work, including transcripts.
- Dual enrollment courses are evaluated according to Mason's transfer credit policy, which takes into account factors like the accreditation status of the institution at which you took the course.
- Your dual enrollment course work must correspond with equivalent courses offered at Mason, and your grade must be a "C" or better.
- Courses are evaluated by reviewing the course content regardless of the mode of instruction: in-person, virtual, hybrid, and so forth.
