International Enrollment Partnerships (IEP) structures degree programs to suit students from around the globe.
IEP, under the operating umbrella of the Global Education Office (GEO), works with Mason's academic units to build programs to suit student demand. We also work with international associates to create programs that work for each partner.
IEP arranges delegation visits, which may include campus tours, admission information sessions, and meetings with academic or student support units. To request a delegation visit, please fill out the form.
In addition to colleges and universities, IEP works with institutions that support international students, including government and non-governmental agencies, sponsored student programs, and global education organizations.
Current IEP programs:
- 3+1+1 Accelerated Master's Program. In five years, students earn a bachelor’s degree from their home university and a master’s from Mason. Mason offers a number of degree options for the 3+1+1 that can be matched with the home university bachelor degree.
- 2+2 and 1+3 Undergraduate Transfer Programs. Students can transfer up to 90 credits towards their bachelor’s degree from Mason – standard minimum requirement is 120 credits. Over 80 available majors for students to choose from.
- 1+1 Graduate Transfer Programs. Students enrolled in a partner university master’s degree can transfer up to 12 credits towards a master’s degree from Mason.
- China 1+2+1 Program. A dual-degree program in which Chinese students spend a year at their home university, two to three years at Mason, then return to their home university to finish both degrees.
