With more than 30 dining locations across our campuses, some open 24 hours, hungry Mason students have the flexibility to eat what they want when they want.
Mason Dining offers something for everyone, including diners with allergies or dietary restrictions. Selections include:
- Made-to-order dishes
- Original recipes
- Salad bars
- Dessert bars
- Beverage stations
- Vegan and vegetarian dishes
- Halal selections
- Gluten-free dishes
- Allergen-aware dishes
- Campus-grown greens
- Fresh gelato
- Smoothie bar
- Waffle bar
Mason has a variety of meal plans, with choices determined by housing and academic status. We also have plans that suit students who commute to campus or have access to kitchens in their residence halls.
Most meal plans include bonus funds, which Mason students can use to enjoy meals at any commercial dining venue on campus. A minimum amount of bonus funds is included in each meal plan, and you have the option to add more. Plans also include funds for guest meals, which you can use to buy lunch for Mom and Dad when they visit.
At least one resident dining hall on the Fairfax Campus is open 24 hours, as is the Starbucks in Northern Neck, during the fall and spring semesters.
Mason students who purchase one of our meal plans have the option of dining at a variety of locations across our campuses, including:

- Ike's (Eisenhower Hall, Fairfax)
- Simply to Go (Sub 1, Fairfax)
- Randall's Cafe (Colgan Hall, Sci-Tech)
- Au Bon Pain (Van Metre Hall, Arlington)
- The Commons (Smithsonian-Mason)

Mason's campuses feature a variety of dining choices, from Argo Tea to Freshens to Steak 'N Shake to Wing Zone.
