About Me
Favorite thing about Mason: There's so much to love about Mason! I'll pick two favorite things: opportunities and community. Mason opened a lot of doors for me - learning a new language, studying (and later working) abroad, starting a successful a cappella group (shout-out to Mason Some Noise!), research, working as an event technician in Event Services, and more! And the community at Mason is so welcoming; I made so many friends and built meaningful relationships with faculty and staff.
Advice for students getting ready to apply for college: I highly recommend that you plan ahead and give yourself enough time to take your time on your applications. Also, when considering schools, I know it can be hard to figure out which is the right fit; make sure you do your research on schools and take a step back to evaluate which one you can definitely see yourself attending.
Favorite Washington, D.C. or Northern Virginia attraction: That's a hard question! I'm from D.C. and spent most of my life living in Northern VA so I know a lot of spots... I think I'd say my favorite is the National Museum of African American History and Culture. The Freer Gallery of Art and Library of Congress are tied for second favorite!

About Me
Favorite thing about Mason: There are several! Along with diversity as a key favorite, I would definitely say the research. My intention when coming to Mason was to learn, explore, and discover. Both the diversity of people and the research has allowed me this continual opportunity.
Advice for students getting ready to apply for college: Despite this year being vastly different, there is still a fantastic opportunity for you to be creative, innovative, and curious. Especially from an Admissions Counselor's perspective, I would love to see students who both value and take action with these qualities.
Favorite Washington, D.C. or Northern Virginia attraction: There are plenty, however "Old Town Alexandria" has really stood out!
