Sunny's Mason Story
When looking for colleges, Sunny wanted to find a campus with a strong queer community where they would be accepted. This led them to Mason, and by working with the LGBTQ+ Center and living in the LGBTQ+ Learning Community, Sunny found ways to help fellow queer students flourish and celebrate their shared experiences through events like Mason Pride Week’s annual drag show. Sunny plans to further their experience of new cultures at Mason by studying abroad on the Mason Korea campus.
