Will's Mason Story
Will wanted to find a college that reflected the diverse people, perspectives, and experiences he encountered growing up in a military family, and he found all this and more at Mason. As a student coordinator for the LGBTQ+ Resources Center and chair of the Christian Leadership Council, Will has a chance to work with queer and questioning students who may not have received the support they needed previously at home or in school. He credits Mason’s resource offices and the student body’s commitment to inclusivity with helping him better understand how someone’s various identities shape their lives and dreams.
