Yasmin's Mason Story
Although she was nervous about leaving Palestine to study at Mason, Yasmin pushed herself out her comfort zone to form new, lasting relationships with her teachers and fellow students. These relationships led Yasmin to incredible opportunities, like serving as the marketing lead for student-led TEDxGMU events and taking part in an experiential internship with United States Cyber Command; just to name a couple. Her relationships in and out of the classroom exposed her to new cultures, which she considers one of the most important parts of her education.
