On Friday, October 14, in EagleBank Arena, George Mason University Athletics officially kicked-off men's and women's basketball season. Mason fans, including Mason families who were on campus for Family Weekend, were introduced to student-athletes from each team and heard from men's basketball Head Coach Kim English and women's basketball Head Coach Vanessa Blair-Lewis. Each team also took part in a scrimmage on the EagleBank Arena floor. The event included performances from the Green Machine and a variety of student organizations.
