    Jacquelyn (Jackie) Nash is the associate director for George Mason University Undergraduate Education's University Studies Program and has been a part of the department since 2008. From teaching the first UNIV College to Career course in 1998 to her responsibilities today, she has been an essential part of University Studies. She is also an alumna, having earned her MEd in Counseling and Development from George Mason. For her ability to do it all, while championing kindness and positivity, Nash has been named November Employee of the Month.

    As the academic manager in George Mason University’s Global Education Office, Rachel Spence helps international students from partner universities worldwide with the transfer of classes, registration, and advising. In addition to helping students navigate their experiences in the United States and complete their George Mason degrees, Spence is also the chair of the Staff Senate, which represents the interests of all classified and non-student wage employees to the administration and Board of Visitors.

    Professor Emeritus David J. Armor, who served at George Mason University from 1993 to 2010, has passed away. Though retired, he remained an active presence in the Schar School community, mentoring students and advising on research projects until his final days.
